About Lantern Tarot and how readings are made

Lantern Tarot shares free pick-a-pile tarot readings, written under the pen name Mira Vale.

How a reading is made

  1. A question is chosen, for example “what do they think of me?” or “how will work feel next month?”.
  2. The deck is shuffled and a small spread is laid out for each pile.
  3. The cards are read with their traditional meanings and written up in plain language, as prompts for reflection.

What tarot can and cannot do

Tarot is a tool for reflection and entertainment. A reading cannot see facts about other people or the future, and it is not a reason to make or avoid an important decision. See the disclaimer for details.
